b story

Growing up in Azerbaijan, the Netherlands and then moving recently to London, Marzia has experienced having many different cultural and musical influences, which have made her the pianist she is today. The variety of these cultural and musical ideas developed her as a soloist as well as a chamber music performer.

Born in 1989 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Marzia started having piano lesson at the age of six with prof. Adila Aliyeva at the conservatoire and private lessons with prof. Tamila Guseyevna. Deniz Gelenbe and prof. Gabriele Baldocci.

Marzia works also as a piano teacher. She has several private students, works as a teacher for ‘Piano Maestros’ and she is founder of ‘Pianotime’.

Marzia participated in the ‘Prinses Christina Concours’ in the Netherlands and received the second prize in Groningen. She performed several times in ‘The Peter the Great Festival’ and ‘The Orlando Festival’.
